COORDINATORS` MEETING
There were 4 main issues on the Agenda of the Project coordinators` meeting to discuss and to find the best solutions to the present challenges while implementing the Project and the main tasks for Year 2.
I. Administration issues
- Coordinators` form
The coordinators appreciated the existing way of regular reporting on the project achievements by filling in the coordinators` form and sending it to the coordinator of the Polish partner. The form contains information on the project activities, promotion and products. The structure of the form is clear and practical.
Decision:
To keep the old coordinators` form to be filled in every 2 months. The project coordinator Basia makes a list of achievements and sends it to the partners. - Communication
The communication could be better. There are certain failures due to internet connection problems.
Decision:
To avoid possible communication failures:
-Lars will prepare 3 e-mail addresses based on gmail.com. Deadline 10.06.09;
-mobile phones will be used to send SMS

- Project evaluation.
The Latvian coordinator was responsible for every partner to do Year 1 project evaluation. It has been fulfilled and the results are summarized. Decision:
The Latvian coordinator is responsible for Year 2 project evaluation. The final evaluation will start from May 1, 2010.
II.The needs, capabilities, preferences and limitations of seniors in extending ICT use to improve the quality of life.
According to the projct partners` presentations on the Year 1 achievements in each partner organization, the real situation and the experience are quite different. The Polish organization`s Project group organized regular senior learners` discussions and has done the most thorough work in stating and analizing the seniors` needs, possibilities, preferences and limitations of seniors in extending ICT use to activate their education. The Latvian partner has carried out Opinion polls among seniors and youngsters to state their attitude to computers and acquiring computer skills.Decision:
The project coordinator Basia makes a table with needs, possibilities, preferences and limitations of seniors in extending ICT use. The partners make their comments and update it. Deadline - October.
III. Updating and using the website
The project website has been successfully launched. It needs more information on the project activities, promotion and products.Decision:
The project coordinator Basia will update:
a.the project news;
b.the info on international meetings;
c.the products.
IV.Tasks for Year 2
- The Swedish coordinators Claes and Lars will prepare a form and the start content of the Catalogue of good practices and ideas. Deadline - October.
- The project coordinator Basia reserves places for the Memory workshops, held on May 10-14, 2010 in Krakow: Sweden - 3 places, Latvia - 1 place
- The third International meeting in Sweden will be organized after June 15, 2010
